Leading The Way In Post Consumer Recycling

Post Consumer Waste Recycling

After major investment Dekura are now able to offer a unique post consumer waste service. We are currently only able to offer the post-consumer waste service to those fabricators/installers for whom we collect post-industrial waste at the same time.

All those windows and doors installed some 20 years ago and more can now be recycled into the next generation of building products.

Until recently those old products have cost your business money and time taking them to landfill or using waste management companies to take them away. In fact some industry figures suggest some 300,000 windows per year maybe going to landfill at a cost of between £40 and £100 per tone at least and these figures are likely to double by 2010.

If you then add the cost of a skip a fabricator averaging 250 frames a week could be looking at an annual cost of over £20,000 per annum.

A new directive recently introduced will also impact on everyone sending materials to landfill and will change the way businesses have to deal with such materials.

It makes environmental and economic sense to recycle.

Dekura can now offer alongside its post-industrial service a dedicated post-consumer service utilising the unique green trolley.

This trolley can be left with larger fabricators or on sites where old PVC-U is being removed and then collected at suitable times depending on the volumes being used.

Smaller fabricators can take advantage of the scheme by keeping their post consumer waste which Dekura will then collect.

Advantages to you:

  • Free collection and recycling of all post consumer PVC-U
  • Green trolley for larger sites
  • Regular collections for smaller fabricators
  • Full traceability and paperwork compliance
  • We will collect windows, doors, rainwater, fascias, soffits, etc
  • Full advice and assistance with all your recycling queries
  • Save time and money
